In February, my family and I took a short day trip to Detroit. For those of you who have never been, Detroit is a city brimming with life, art, and diversity. Despite its reputation, its always been a resilient city that has been an outlet for creation and cultural life for decades. For this specific trip, we ice skated at Campus Martius followed by a short trip to the DIA. Per usual, I brought my camera with me and compiled a short album from the day. One of my favorite things about some of these shots is the simplicity of them. I believe that there’s a certain level of beauty and elegance in everything we see, whether or not we acknowledge it. I hope these shots capture that feeling.
